Mike’s earliest “in woods” memories are of the smells, sights and sounds of recent softwood harvest on the small family woodlot where he “helped” his dad and grampy replant trees. He still loves arriving on a landing and the sights sounds and smells of an active jobsite. After spending half his career in and around the logging industry in various roles, Mike is honored to lead the SWPA, the Unified Voice of Professional Loggers - By Loggers and For Loggers serving loggers in Georgia and Florida.
